Radiohead’s Marching Band collaboration gets release
USC Trojan Marching Band have a released a recording of their performance with Radiohead at the Grammy Awards.
Radiohead and USC Trojan Marching Band performed 15 Step at the Grammy Awards earlier this year. The recording is taken from the rehearsals for that show at Sony Studios’ Stage 25 two days before the live broadcast of the 2009 Grammy Awards. The performance is included in Paste’s 25 Best Live TV Moments of this decade.
The track is a bonus track on the double CD ‘Trojan Legacy: 40 Years of Dr. Arthur C. Bartner and The Spirit of Troy’, which is only available at the USC Bookstore.

I hope this ends up being available through iTunes or something. I don’t want to buy a whole CD of marching band music, let alone the Trojans’.

Oh yes, they are the best band, and they prove it again and again and again. I actually love the fact that besides the extreme quality of the music they do engage in political actions such as connected with the climate change. They refrain from ridiculous hand shaking with polititians but really do something, act as an example.
You don’t really think Thom Yorke is somebody to jump on any stupid wagon, don’t insult his intelligence.
Hope to buy this track soon…

I’m with Raymond – love the music, irritated by some of the politics. Like calling Hugo Chavez “a bit of a hero” during a concert once – really Thom? And yes I know a lot of the lyrics are political too…I like the music far more than the words anyway, with a few exceptions (some songs do have genius lyrics)

I am so grateful that I have had the honor to hear Radiohead take so many different paths and has done only one thing, cause them to be my greatest band ever. Thank you Radiohead for your music.
One other thing Thom Yorke and Radioehad. Your climate change and your little parties are a fraud and a joke.
Climategate is blown wide open. It was a bunch of fake politicians and GREEDY ass losers who just want to ruined the economy and collect more taxes.
JUMP OFF THE FRAUD WAGON BEFORE YOU GO OVER THE CLIFF WITH THEM.
I warned you.
Radiohead Rules.
