Atoms For Peace live in New York [live report]

Thom Yorke kicked off his tour with the Atoms For Peace band in New York last night, debuting a new song. The band played most tracks for The Eraser album in their set and then returned for an encore, just as long as the first part of the show.

Here’s the setlist from the Roseland Ballroom. Atoms For Peace will play here again tonight.

    Was there last night, great show.

    For the record, the first/main set, was the entire Eraser album front to back, ending with the awesome slightly sped up Cymbal Rush. Then the solo piano began after the break.

    They started the set around 9:10. There was about a 30 period between FlyLo and Atoms for Peace.

    I would recommend standing towards the back…better sound and view of the stage.

    Yeah, just for the record, Cymbal Rush was before the encore. Also, holy shit, what a fucking amazing show.

    The show was amazing. For those of you going dont go in before 7:30. we got there at six and were stuck inside for $10 drinks and hotdogs (vegetarian here). The will call/admission line goes quick. Parking is easy 5 garages on that block. I stood about 15 rows back and the vibe was awsome. Sound was better towards the back but the engery being 20ft from them was unmatched. Enjoy and be sure to drink the mixers not the beer. much better buy. ciao

    FYI, Cymbal Rush was the last song of the main set. not in the encore.

    I’m so upset I couldn’t get tickets for these shows. My hate for ticketmaster has been growing for a good 15 years now.

    truly amazing show last night. seeing Flea and Thom together was something to tell the grandkids about. I was shocked at how well the album translated to the stage, such energy!
