Thom Yorke’s band, Atoms For Peace, are set for a second night at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. There were some worries if the show would actually happen due to a nearby fire. There were several manhole explosions down West 52nd Street in New York.
Some buildings were evacuated because extremely high levels of carbon monoxide were measured and Broadway between 50th and 54th were shut down. It has been confirmed however that the show will go on, but with a half hour delay.
Tonight’s setlist was slightly different than last night’s. This evening Thom and his band played The Eraser album in full. Thom returned for an encore to debut All For The Best live. All For The Best is a Mark Mulcahy song, which Thom recorded for the Mulcahy tribute album ‘Ciao My Shining Star’. Radiohead’s ‘Fog’ and ‘Everything in its right place’ were next. Then the rest of the band joined him to play ‘Judge. Jury. Executioner’, ‘The Hollow Earth’ and ‘Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses’
