Apart from saying “I want an album signed by Yorke” everytime I put on my Radiohead record In Rainbows, my brother, who’s now on a wheelchair without understanding if he’s still between us after a car accident, always says that Thom’s chart are terrible because the songs don’t matter a f@#k with the kind of music he writes though he’s a great musician!

Arcade Fire’s Neon Bible has one of my favourite songs of the last few years on it, Intervention. I suppose it’s fairly cheesy, church organ and all, but it’s huge and uplifting, it makes you want to do things!

I know Thom loves the song “Distortions” from Clinc so that must of been his inspiration for “All I Need”

    @ Beefcake:

Musically-speaking, the inspiration for All I Need was Boards Of Canada’s Roygbiv from their album Music Has The Right To Children.

anyone else see the “cold empty horizontal lines” as a possible writers block? ;(

  • Mo Vaughn

sadly, ‘cold empty horizontal lines’ does indeed sound like Thom’s way of saying writer’s block.

    damn.

  • Bryce

the “cold empty lines” seems a bad tiding to me. It keeps me up at night.
