Jonny Greenwood up for Concert for Care charity

Jonny Greenwood is set to appear at the Concert For Care. The Radiohead guitarist has been added to the bill of David Arnold’s charity event.

The event will take place at the London Royal Albert Hall on October 18th. David Arnold, a film composer, is trying to raise money with an assembly of the finest film composers in the world with composers, comedians and musicians. Apart from Jonny Greenwood, Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs) and comedian Matt Lucas will appear.

CARE International is a leading aid organisation fighting global poverty and delivering emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters. In over 70 countries around the world, CARE works with communities to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, improve maternal and child health, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources.

All proceeds from Concert for CARE will go to CARE International, and the composers are all generously giving their time for free. More info and tickets at www.concertforcare.com.
