Watch Radiohead’s Glastonbury show in full

Radiohead’s show at Glastonbury from June 24 is now available online.

The band played a surprise show at the Glastonbury Festival on June 24. The show was not broadcast by the BBC, but 34 people shared their footage and James Clarke put it all together.

Speaking of which, Colin Greenwood shared a video of Bloom on Dead Air Space yesterday, commenting with:

Yes it rains at the end, and the wet smudges the lights and everything spins out nicely.
We loved playing at Glastonbury, and can’t wait to do it again soon

Thanks to Polar1one for making the video.

Is Colin hinting to some more live shows in the near future? Manchester, anyone?

Either way, here’s the Glastonbury show:

  • ** Jonny has a frankenstein thing going for him **

    why’s that?

  • Its good to see these old timers taking it easy.
Stay close to home and rock out.
That is what the internet is for. To stream footage around the entire world and share people’s experiences. What a joy it is to see Radiohead still doing what they do best.

  • @ Amnesiac What?

why don’t you write directly to Radiohead and tell them exactly what you want for them, some direct communication would be productive…. :D

oh, the old timer comment is quite funny……, and why do you want to listen to older timer’s music? :D

do you feel happy today? i know i do. it’s a beautiful day here for a typical hot humid summer, i will drink up a glass for you! cheers! ;-)

  • norman, you mean frankenstein or frankenstein’s monster. the two are very different. i hope they play manchester and i hope i know about it when they’re in my city!

  • @ Amnesiac What?

  • tkol ftb had become in this short period of time one on my favorite [ if not the most favorite ] live performance from any artist in any age of this era .

  • p s : is it my poor english or colin is really kind of bitching because he doesn ‘t really want to take too many ” breaks ” ?

    that s awesome ! ! ! haha -

  • to rococo rot ‘ s portrait song from hotel morgen now brings me to a similar mood than tkol bloom or the tkol feeling in general . not sure why .

  • i can’t believe i’m saying this, but i almost like TKoL FTB just “a little” better than the polished originals, shame shame shame on me!

    :D

  • Rococo Rot – Hotel Morgen sounds real cool… like it!

  • @ music is love
I know that Atease is one of the favorites of the bands. No need to write a letter that’s at the bottom of the pile of letters that Radiohead gets on a daily mail basis. :)

I’m an old timer too. I have been a fan since the “beginning” if there ever was one. :)

Yes. I am very happy. Happy because you are and that’s all that matters. Other people’s happiness is very important to me. :)

  • @ Amnesiac What?

for real? you mean Radiohead is really reading our comments? now i feel my love for Radiohead can be meaningfully channeled out, it makes me feel so much better.

ahhh…. that old timer definition can get a little tricky…

anyway, i appreciate your generosity in caring.

ps. i’m trying reeeeaaaaally hard not to put any expression faces, hehe….

  • @ music is love
That’s what music is all about….. FEELING EMOTIONS!!!

  • amen…. music is the greatest invention of human kind, i channel my emotions thru music, or else i won’t know what to do with myself, haha…. (no smiley icon, still trying hard not to….)

  • I can’t imagine a world without Radiohead in it. I really hope a tour is in the works for TKOL

  • Nice job James. Thanks for putting all the footage together!

  • I really love how they pull of this album live. You guys should check out my Lotus Flower cover and tell me what you think!

  • Is it just me or does TKOL sound much better live, especially songs like Lotus Flower and Bloom???

By the way, Staircase and Daily Mail are incredible. Staircase would have fit on TKOL easily and would have made it even better, imo.

  • @franella : if it is technically impossible to go back in time , why would you blow your mind with why . . . . enjoy what it is around and let it go . . . . . .

  • fla not fra sorry

  • amen…. music is the greatest invention of human kind

Humans didnt make music..it already exsisted out in the void and played a huge part of creation. Like a flower that need light to grow, the universe expanded and music Wielded everthing together, like a huge song being sung for the creator.

havnt you read the music of the Ainur in the Simarrillion

  • @stanley : i am a person out there who may retain a modicum of interest in your ‘up-dates’ .

  • if not interested in my up and about, what’s your ultimate interest?

  • guess some people never learn how to spell C.O.M.M.U.N.I.C.A.T.I.O.N.

    ??

  • sorry, meant to say Radiohead’s up and about.

i thought we’re here to stay on top of Radiohead’s updates.

  • for being stanley you should know a bit more about yourself . . . .

  • through knowing myself, i know you.

  • classy

  • sad these days.., people focus more on style than substance.

  • i can’t wait to listen to TKoL “LIVE” tonight! ;-)

  • **** Humans didnt make music..it already exsisted out in the void and played a huge part of creation ****

true. we only use what we are given. after all, this is not merely a human world. all myth and theories about creator are written and theorized by human, so…. it makes me wonder.

  • ** i am a person out there who may retain a modicum of interest in your ‘up-dates’ . **

    where’s the love? :)

  • “Little By Little” was a fucking trainwreck from start to finish.
