Hear the 4th Radiohead remix single. Remixes from Thriller, Illum Sphere & Shed

Four down, three to go. The fourth Radiohead remix single is now available for pre-order.

In Radiohead’s The King Of Limbs remix series, the fourth vinyl single is now available. The single contains remixes of Give up the ghost, Codex and Little by Little, respectively remixed by Thriller, Illum Sphere and Shed. Listen to them via the player below. There’s a slight delay delivering the vinyls to the shops, but you can pre-order them at your local record store or via thekingoflimbs.com.

    These are so far the best three of the rmx lot of heard so far…but that’s not really saying much. I am not in the anti-remix camp like so many others, but I do find *most* of these TKOL remixes a bit dull. And that said, I’m also cognizant that it’s not Radiohead themselves making the remixs, but other bands, producers, etc.; but still, Radiohead is behind them, and releasing them as their own.
    So, not their greatest ‘achievement’, but everyone has bad days…

    the first track is shit… sorry, i tried to like it, but it goes absolutely nowhere, just sounds like house wank. Would like some more rhthmic creativity, or bring in the vocals earlier. far too boring.

    yeh these are all shit.

    Radiohead are only experimental in service to the music – adding depth and making it more interesting, but at its core it’s still moving/thoughtful/fun to listen to.

    These remixes, like a lot of experimental music, sound experimental for the sake of it, the tracks don’t go anywhere or evoke any feeling/thought

    I’m sorry but I’m still a big fan of instruments and remixes are the most distant thing from what I call music.
    Said this, these remixes are crap!!!
    I seriously wish they won’t earn a single penny because any income would encourage Radiohead to go on this way and I think that they’re trying to be a bit too ALTERNATIVE (and this attitude risks to be boring, after a while). Go The Bends and Hail to the thief!

    Why are all these remixes repetitive crap? Im not against remixes I just think these are piss poor. Remixes from past singles were awesome Eg Scatter brain + Climbing up the walls+Planet telex.

    I really tried to like these and only realized after my success I don’t need to try. These are so much fun I keep forgetting the original source. I wrote Thom Yorke to tell him how much I love the remixes and insisted there be many more and he wrote me back! saying it’s because of people like me and our generous support that we can all expect many many more remixes in the future! Awesome! Cheers!

    These remixes have been, almost without exception, utter dogshit. As someone mentioned previously, RH may as well get Massive Attack or DJ Shadow to just remix the whole album (as MA were supposed to do with OKC). Massive Attack and Shadow have plenty of time in their schedules as they only put an album out every five years.
