Radiohead announce show in Mexico City

Following the dates in the USA, Italy and Germany, Radiohead have added a new show to their 2012 tour: Mexico City.

Radiohead return to Mexico on April 17th at Foro Sol, 2012. Tickets will go on sale December 1. More details when we have them.

    Dear Radiohead and Co.

    I’m writing here to please please urge you guys to make the rest of the 2012 tour scalper proof, I know it might be impossible but please try. A year ago my hubby’s business closed and he was forced to take a job in retail in order to help make ends meet. A few months ago the company i worked for also went out of business and ive been unemployed since, the job hunt is such a gauntlet it blows.. between my hubby’s paycheck and the money i make from side jobs here and there its very very hard to live on and it would totally kill us to have to pay some dirty scalper 4 times more the amount for a ticket. Four years ago the last time you guys toured was still a different time I payed $280 for a $60 ticket for Radiohead back then I didn’t have the same responsibilities and didn’t mind, the show was worth every penny. This time around my hubby and i can only afford the regular price for a ticket. Please Radiohead my favorite band Put the scalpers and greedy websites out of business… :-) can’t wait to see you guys in Cali :-)

    I know there’s no point saying this but, Foro Sol really sucks, for those who doesn’t know, it is a cold stadium with no acoustics.

    I am very happy for Mexico. I am so glad that they get to enjoy a moment with Radiohead. Yes I am against another drawn out concert that may put a lot of strain on the band and family.
    I would prefer that they stay close to their families and make more albums.
    But, good for the Mexican people. They will enjoy this time.
    Another good thing about concerts is all the cell phones and cameras present. We will have endless concerts to find the best of this album. Live has proven to be the best way to express this album. Recorded on album was far below par.

    (1) Sorry for your job loss.

    (2) I think Radiohead do what they can to discourage scalping but even they can’t stop it completely.

    Good luck getting tix. I think with the larger venues, there’s better chances for everyone. I got pretty decent seats for Arizona when they went on sale. Of course if you wait until they’re sold out, you’re at the mercy of the scalpers unfortunately.

    Coachella has always had a great line-up for radiohead’s style. Sasquatch is also good.
