notes: Working title: last night an airbag saved my life (after Indeep's "Last night a DJ saved my life"). Jonny: "Thom & Phil worked a whole day with the computer to cut up the drums and try to make it sound like DJ Shadow."

Thom suggested that Airbag, the opening track on OK Computer, should begin with sleigh bells. The band thought it was a horrible idea, but Yorke insisted and eventually got his way. "I can't believe I got away with that," he says. "Even I didn't think it was a good idea." (AP, Sep. 2003)
