Videotape looks like one of the track for a new album, when the song was on included on a tracklisting, written on the blackboard at the Radiohead studio. A picture of that blackboard was posted on September 30th 2005.
Colin posted two photos (see below) with the title videotape on Dead Air Space on February 24th.
On March 8th 2006 Videotape appeared on the studio's blackboard again. This time it was a shortlist of tracks, most likely included in their rehearsal sessions for their upcoming tour, kicking of in May 2006.
On April 5th, Thom posted the lyrics of videotape at Dead Air Space.
Videotape debuted live at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on May 18th 2006.
