Management explain Amplive remix ban

Radiohead manager Bryce Edge explains why they’ve prohibited Amplive from releasing his remix version of ‘In Rainbows’.
Yesterday, we reported that Radiohead’s publishers Warner/Chappell sent a ‘cease and desist’ letter to Amplive’s label saying that by releasing ‘Rainydayz’, the producer had created “musical arrangements and remixes” without official agreement.

Warner/Chappell blocks ‘In Rainbows’ remixes

Producer Amplive who announced an album with remixes of Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’, might have to ditch the whole plan. Radiohead’s publisher, Warner/Chappell, does not agree with the release without permission from the publisher or the band.

North American independents on Radiohead

‘In Rainbows’ out in stores and iTunes

Radiohead’s latest album ‘In Rainbows’ is now officially available in stores and iTunes. The band’s seventh album is the first to appear on Apple’s music store.

Thom Yorke denies ‘Load of cash’ demand

Thom Yorke has responded to the earlier publication in The Times, where EMI’s owner Guy Hands claims Radiohead demanded 10 million pounds for resigning to the label.
