The Most Gigiantic Lying Mouth Of All Time

Format: DVD VIDEO

Release: 01-12-2004 [Worldwide release]

Order: W.A.S.T.E. or The Ideal Copy

Radiohead will release their third DVD, entitled 'The Most Gigiantic Lying Mouth Of All Time'. The release date has now been set for December 1st. The DVD will not only contain Radiohead.tv episodes, but also videos and live footage.

After extensive and potentially dangerous negotiations with the renegade fugitive Chieftan Mews, we have finally recovered Episode Four of 'The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time'.
Chieftan was cornered in an exclusive cocktail bar in Lucerne, Switzerland, where he agreed to surrender the elusive tape. He was, fortunately, very drunk, and our agents were able to escape from his clutches uninjured and in no way compromised by his ensnarements.
As a result, we are now able to offer you a DVD of the entire 'Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time'; episodes One, Two, Three and Four.
Featuring hithertofore unreleased Radiohead music, some of the strangest films we have seen, and, possibly regrettably, Chieftan Mews' deranged 'introductions'. We hope that you will take the opportunity to own a copy of this beautifully produced DVD, complete with original artwork by Stanley Donwood & Dr. Tchock, and sleeve notes written especially for this release by Thom Yorke.
The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time; twenty-four short films, with music by Radiohead. A W.A.S.T.E. release 2004.

This will ensure you are part of the 'not available in shops', 'first ever', 'exclusive', 'w.a.s.t.e only' release.

Radiohead Television, a 110 minute excursion into the bizarre.

From a glass-walled boardroom in west London, via a small spare room in Willesden, past the flood-torn wastes of Cornwall and the landfill sites of 'picturesque' rural Oxfordshire, a carefully-vetted team of 'experts' has been plotting to create a DVD containing films, animations and music never heard before. Channel 4 wouldn't show it, for reasons that remain unclear. The BBC were busy. ITV and Channel 5 simply pretended we didn't exist. But our 'experts' are certain that the discerning public must be allowed to view this material.

Containing music from Radiohead's 'Hail to the Thief' as well as tracks unreleased before, set to a collection of perhaps the strangest videos you've seen on your teevee, and introduced by the one-and-only, the incorrigible, the indefatigable, the certifiable Chieftan Mews...

It is, without doubt, The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time.

Twenty-four short films with music by Radiohead

This was originally meant to be 4 episodes shown on our very own television channel.
It was just before Hail to the thief was released.
Everyone was working themselves into a froth.
They told us they could get us our own station.
Somewhere here, somewhere there, you know.
It was very exciting.
We were going to take over the airwaves.
So we set about puxing together some
television. We got lots of tapes from a request
we put on our website. Lots. Lots and lots. We
also generated some television of our own to
avoid going sir crazy in the sudio.
It was saved by the dedication of Dilly Gent who
diligently went through all the tapes and Chris
Bran who edited them together. In the end I
think i only got beamed from our website.
The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time
Something about money, cutbacks, too weird,
might scare the children, staV layoVs,
shareholders.. you know.. fair enough.
It was a shame considering there is a lot of
people's hard work here.
It sort of got forgoxen about. Until now.
So we apologize to everybody who sent us their
work.....
SORRY IT'S LATE.
But now you can watch i when you want, and
maybe actually see i properly as well.
It contains music from Hail to the chief etc.,
and all sorts of other suff from us... videos
you may not have seen, and unreleased music
that isn't out anywhere else.
A
Thom Yorke, 2nd September 2004.
